Hanora McCarthy

Hanora was born in 1856. She died at the age of 85 on May 11th, 1941.

General Notes
- Hanora had 10 children they were:
  
  Catherine (1884-1968) Known as Kate lived in Cobh at French's avenue. Married James Hennessy and had 4 children. They are buried in the old Church cemetery Cobh.
  
  Johanna (1886-1973) married Thomas Carr and lived at the pub at 4 the Mall in Cobh.
  
  Ellen (1887-1972) (Elie Rose) married William Foley of Whitegate who was in the Navy. They had 1 girl Rose.
  
  Honora (1888-1965) married Denis O'Brien of Limerick lived at Youghal and had 4 children.
  
  Mary Josephine (1890-1973) lived in Cobh and married John Scannell of Aghada and had 2 children.
  
  William (1892-1960) married Eileen O'Donovan of Nohaval, Kinsale they had 3 children. He was dis-inherited by his father
  
  Maurice (1894-1924) was a Garda (Policeman) buried in Aghada
  
  John (1896-1948) was brought home to run the farm when Maurice was dis-inherited. Buried in Aghada
  
  Michael (1897- ?) married Ellen Whyte of Castlemartyr lived in Castlemartyr and had 4 children.
  
  Patrick (1898-1968) married to Mary O'Donovan of Nohoval Kinsale and had 9 children
